Dockside Inn
Darien Dockside Inn is a newly renovated hotel located in historic downtown Darien on the beautiful coast of Georgia. Darien Dockside Inn offers a cozy respite from your travels in one of 6 unique rooms and suites. All of our rooms feature views of the river, marsh, bridge, historic tabby ruins, and local shrimp boat fleet.

The Darien Dockside Inn is located in a 100+ year old historic tabby building originally built as a warehouse on the waterfront in downtown Darien. It is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, waterfront, and historic sites.

The historic "Tabby Ruins" of former warehouses on the waterfront are just outside your doorstep. The local Shrimp Boat Fleet is a beautiful sight to behold as you sip your morning coffee or relax with a glass of wine on the deck. Fort King George, built in 1721 is just a mile away. The Darien Dockside Inn is a mere 45 minutes from Savannah to the North and 45 minutes from Jacksonville, FL to the South, 15 minutes from St Simons Island, and 25 minutes from Jekyll Island.

Each of our cozy rooms offers luxury bedding, private baths, and views of the marsh, river, and bridge.

The owners Zach & Carrie Rath moved to Darien in 2013 and fell in love with the history and natural beauty of Darien. They  own and operate the historic Open Gates Bed & Breakfast on Vernon Square since 2013 and in 2020 took over the Dockside Inn as another historic property.
